North Herts Building Society was the name used by North Herts Permanent Mutual Benefit Building Society for several decades prior to its formal renaming in 1962 according to the Building Societies Association. In 1970, it transferred its engagements to Bristol & West Building Society and is now part of Coventry Building Society.
