Silsden & District Permanent Building Society

History

Silsden & District Permanent Building Society was established in 1871 and renamed Silsden Building Society in 1940. It subsequently transferred its engagements to Leek & Moorlands Building Society in 1959 and is now part of Coventry Building Society following further consolidation.
