Wearside Building Society

History

Wearside Building Society was established in 1931 and transferred its engagements to Leek & Westbourne Building Society in 1971. Through subsequent mergers and acquisitions, it is now part of Coventry Building Society. (Unrelated to 1883 building society of the same name)
