Penistone & Thurlstone Permanent Benefit Building Society

History

Penistone & Thurlstone Permanent Benefit Building Society was established in 1867 and renamed Penistone Building Society in 1948. It subsequently transferred its engagements to Leek & Moorlands Building Society in 1965 and is now part of Coventry Building Society following further consolidation.
